Scholarship

MC '13 Graduation

Thetas across the country strive for academic excellence, and scholarship is an important aspect of Theta life at TU. Our scholarship program helps new members connect with older girls in the same major, facilitates a "study buddy" program for encouragement and stress relief, and hosts an annual banquet to celebrate the professors who contribute so much to our academic success. We are proud to say that our chapter's GPA was the highest on sorority row for the 2017 Fall Semester. We have had the highest sorority GPA for 11 out of the 12 semesters.

Gamma Tau has recently received recognition for our efforts in scholarship, leadership, and personal excellence with the awards listed below.

From Kappa Alpha Theta Grand Convention (June 2016):

  • Founder's Award Finalist (making Gamma Tau a top 8 chapter!)
  • Golden Kite Award (for the 4th consecutive convention)
  • Excellence in Membership Development
